Brian McGlynnChief Technical Officer, Executive Vice President, Director and FounderBioDirection, Inc.

Mr. McGlynn has been a part of the medical industry for over 35 years, with Executive positions in 3 companies as well as national and global management positions in Sales, Business Development, Clinical. The most recent addition is entrepreneur. Mr. McGlynn began his medical career as part of the regulatory and research team with the St. Jude Medical prosthetic heart valve and as regional management for both CPI and Pacesetter pacemakers (Wisconsin). After 9 years Mr. McGlynn spent 3 years with US Surgical promoting internal surgical stapling products in the operating room and then as regional manager for the Wisconsin region. For the next 15 years Mr. McGlynn moved to the cosmetic and surgical laser industry, helping to expand existing markets and develop centers of excellence. Mr. McGlynn also led on seven applications for FDA approval (ESC/Sharplan/Syneron). After 25 years Mr. McGlynn started a successful consulting business focused on strategic development for start-up medical companies. He began work on BioDirection in 2008 to help mitigate the battlefield epidemic of Concussion and PTSD. It was critical to find a new technology that could diagnose concussions rapidly and affordably in the battlefield, in the Emergency Department and anywhere brain injuries occur. BioDirection was launched in 2011/2012 with nanowire technology that can accurately diagnose and monitor TBI/concussion in a point of care device called Tbit™. Mr. McGlynn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Trinity University following his Premed studies at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
