There's an ever-increasing amount of talk about gender equality in the tech industry – and with good reasons, be that because there's a shortage of women in engineering, or that companies with more diversified teams that include women in all ranks perform better financially, or that what many describe as a US STEM talent crisis could be alleviated if women were encouraged to move into engineering.

This open-to-all ESC breakfast session on Women in Engineering will center on a panel discussion, exploring professional opportunities for women in engineering, reasons why women represent less than 12% of electrical and mechanical engineers, and our panelists careers in engineering-driven professions.

It will conclude with a Q&A and networking opportunity.
